    Allen, and his controller

Has anyone else had any sort of a problem contacting Allen? I am interested in getting one of his controllers, but I will admit I wanted lots of info before buying. Now I don't know if my mails are getting to him or what, but I am not getting an answer back from him.

I was hoping to get pinouts and diagrams of the controller before pruchase, but if it works for all of you out there that have one... why not!

Also, i am still having a hard time finding the LCD pinout for the sharp LQ10D421 screen. Weird.

Yes, I am still interested. I am sorry about delay, but honestly I am just trying to decide which kind of touchscreen i want. Surface wave, or resistive. On top of that, i am also trying to find prices on the controller (compare) and the overlays.

As for allens controller, I would like to get that info from you if i could. The only problem remaining, is wheather or not I can get a controller from allen now.

    Thanks

Allens kind of flown the coop.

He's taken down his websites so there is no longer online access to his documentation.

I think I got the last 2 controllers from him and now he has pretty much disappeared.

    Good luck finding him.

Allen did not make the controllers, did he? If he didn't, where did he get them?

Are there markings or FCC id's on the controller cards? Can we trace the maker, and maybe get more? There has got to be more to this story.

    Clay,
I think several people have been down this street before. As I recall the mfr was Datalux and they are old controllers form 1995 or something like that. But they work so who cares how old they are.

We don't know how Allen get's them, many of us are just happy he did.

    Good luck,
