Sure enough, playing with the video harness on the bottom, I can get it to invert back to normal on the Y axis, but the X axis is still flipped.
Why the ***** does it have to break the instant it's all wrapped up.![]()
So I'm putting my lcd back together for the umpteenth time and I'm running into a weird problem.
I made sure everything was working fine. Had my gforce displaying to TV-Out and it was fine, I moved the unit and the screen inverted. up/down and left/right.
I tried jostling the harness (which is what I believe did it in the first place, I hate that connector) and it's not going back.
Anyone every hear of this? Is it possible it's something internal to the lcd?![]()
I have no options in my OSD for flipping or rotating the screen.
The menu is inverted as well.
I imagine I've got to take it apart again which I'm loath to do. The piece it's molded into is bowel shaped so it's takes quite a bit of dexterity to put it all back together.

Figured it out.
Apparently the ribbon cable wasn't as secure as I thought. When I moved the lcd, it either slipped to adjacent pins or tilted jumping certain pins.
So when I wiggled the other connector, I must have canceled out the misaligned pins by misaligning the other pins.
So it's off to install it in the car. Hopefully the touchscreen works through the privacy screen. It does seem to defuse the glare a little bit, but nowhere near the glass privacy filter.
