how I can take out this screw ?

hi guys, I have a lilliput 7'' TS. and I try to install it to the dash, so I took everything apart, but unfortunately I mess up ribbon cable, so I ordered 1 from mp3.com/store and I tried to replace it. at the time I took out the screw inside the screen and the screw is too small for the screw driver, so now I messed up with the screw and today I went to the ACE hardware store, and bought a mini screw driver, but there is no way to take that small screw in the screen. Any idea how I can take out that screw ? thank you very much ?

Usually once the head is destroyed you are best off drilling it out with a small bit. Find a drill bit that is about the same diameter as the threads. Drill down until it just sprins the head off the screw, and STOP. Once apart, you should hopefully have enough nub left to remove it with a small set of pliers (I prefer diagnonal cutters, they grip well)

Once a screw is stripped, you either destroy the screw by drilling it like gospeed.racer said or you destroy the plastic that it's screwed into. If you're lucky (very VERY lucky), you can still remove the screw by just using a pair of pliers (the bent nose kind, perhaps) and turning it. Likely you gotta break something.

FYI, if you are going to drill out the screw, please please protect the rest of the board from metal shavings shorting out stuff... the kind of mistake you only make once in a lifetime. *sigh*

I'm not sure just how small this screw is, but i normally have a very small cutting disc on a dremel that allows me to cut a new slot into a bust screw which is just enough to let a flat head screwdriver catch on it.
