Autoswitching with no power on AV2???

I have a reverse camera on my GAIN touch screen.

It is set up to autoswitch on signal detection on AV2.

Everything was working fine...i added a capacitor and new battery for my audio system and now everything is not working fine.

I'll be driving and the screen will automatically switch to AV2 (Screen is black because im not in reverse and the camera has no power) and then it switches back. It keeps on doing this repeatedly. I had to turn off the autoswitching feature for now until i get this sorted.

Also, sometimes when i start the car, the screen does not come on. Even if i try with the remote it won't turn on...it's almost as if power is not getting to the screen. Other times it works fine....has anyone had this issue?

I'm using a distro block from my carnetix P1290 (powering my computer, monitor, and vga to tv scan converter)

I put it back on autoswitching and it is still doing it, but not as frequently as before. The first time it did it was the exact same second that i stepped on my brakes....which makes me think it's a power issue?

I have a 0 guage fused wire going from my battery to a distro block....which sends 4 guage wire to my amps and another distro block. That second distro block powers my power supply, Alpine H701, and Coax to Optical converter. The power supply's 12V line feeds a third distro block that powers my computer, screen, and scan converter.

Can anybody help with this one? Does anybody understand the autoswitching protocol enough to explain it in detail to me?

I appreciate any help that anybody has to give...

I am wondering if the auto switching is being affected by the signal your car's ECU is sending to the light bulbs to detect if they have burnt out?

Hmm...that could be a possiblity...do you think that this could be happening at the reverse camera power wire level?

I have the reverse camera mounted in the keyhole and it get's power from the reverse light directly beside it....maybe the reverse bulb sensor?? But that wouldn't explain why it was working perfectly fine before i added a new car battery and capacitor.

    ...maybe a voltage change?
