Thread: Brightness/contrast not working on DWW-700H

Title seems to say it all. Decreasing the brightness on the on-screen-controls doesn't dim the monitor. Needless to say, it's a problem at night. My only choice usually is to just turn off the monitor and manage my music blindly via the keyboard. Does anyone have issues like this? I can't remember the brightness/contrast actually ever working on the monitor. Is it a dummy feature that's not actually installed?

I'm also having problems with the touchscreen - seems borked. Someone on another post of mine suggested that the screen's case could be pinching the touchpanel, but I haven't checked it out yet.

Either way, I contacted Armen for the touchscreen problem and he said he'd fix it. He asked me if I needed the address to ship it out, and when I said 'yes', I never heard from him again. I was just going to either see if I could get the TS to work on my own or just live with it, but now with this problem too, I think the screen needs fixing/replacing.
