Tm-868

Hey I got one of the innovatek tm-868's installed in my dash (allthough the dash is on my workbench at the moment) At first the touchscreen installed and worked like a charm for about a week, then I powered down the unit, powered it back up and the drivers never worked again....I even installed the screen on another computer and the drivers wont pick up the monitor....anyone have a clue whats up?

and yes im using the egalax drivers

Im using the supplied drivers and my comp doesnt like if I unplug and replug it in. I usually have to tell the driver to update, and it either finds the correct driver or I point it in the location. How does it show up under the device manager.

shows up as "unknown usb device"

this seemed to happen once i took apart the monitor and put it back together....so i again took it apart, and tested the leads to the touchscreen interface, and all of them had voltage in reference to the ground on the board....then I tested continuity thru the connector itself and all seemed kosher. So im at a loss, the pc SEES that its attached, but wont do anything about it. I also hooked it up to another PC I have, does the same thing....very weird, and now im suspecting the little controller board my be fubar....i wish i knew were to get another!
