Aargh.. sick of my Xenarc touchscreen

When the sun hits it through the sunroof it turns into a mirror and blinds me!

What do OEM screens have for a touchscreen overlay that makes them not so reflective?

I think those OEM screens us a technology called 'transflective'. Helps a great deal when direct light hits them. Makes them actually brighter

Most aftermarket screens (for cost purposes) are fairly reflective on the outermost layer. Transreflective instead allows the light to come in, then reflects it in the back of the screen where the backlighting is through some diffusers. This essentially gives you more light coming back through the screen, so instead of glare you get enhanced brightness on the picture. Several threads about this topic, conclusion being its definately a great solution, but not cheap...
