    hello,
    i'm trying to set my radeon 9700 pro to work in 800x480 native res for my K301, but the lowest res i can set in control panel is 800x600.
    any chance to "force" to use 800x480?

    by using powerstrip you can add custom res to your vga driver.
    i added 800x480 and fortunately it was compatible with my driver.
    just try it out!

    from what i read so far and with the s3 unichrome i have it is impossible

    dunno, but it works fine with my ati.
    i'm waiting for an epia sp13000, then i'll try it out too.
