I think what people are trying to say is that you can convert the signaling type, but you won't convert the quality. It will remain in low quality even though you're connecting with a vga connector, the image piped through there will still have blurry text.

Hello, in this forum a user put in a decent way a kenwood int the carpc with a converter from vda to rgb, can i get the same image puting a vga s-video converter? (if a can read like a forum thred its ok by me i now that the its not perfect but its ok be me if i can read stuf) ??????
