    Provision 8" Widescreen USB Support

Turns out the Provision's software (TouchKit) can't recognize the USB connection on a NT-based Windows system according to its help file. I know not many on here have this monitor, but still wouldn't hurt to see if anyone has had this problem occur? It says the serial connection supports all Windows systems however. So what would be a better solution, reinstall a different OS that isn't NT based or get a USB->Serial connection adapter?

USB-Serial adapters are cheap and useful, even if not for the vehicle PC.
    I'd try that first.

You could always downgrade to Win98.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
