    xenarc brightness question

iam going to purchase a xenarc 7'' ts and was wondering if anyone had gotten the $195 High Bright / Optical Enhancement put onto there screen and if it was a worthwhile purchase i have a sunroof and the glare / not being able to see my monitor is killing me

I'd say the highbrite makes a 20% improvement.

its overpriced no doubt. But they're the only ones that offer it, and it still comes with a warranty, so I suppose they can charge whatever they want.

when you're in that situation where the sun is behind the car and the screen is completely washed out and you can't even tell if its on... the highbrite will no make a difference whatsoever.

But in the flat-light days where there are no shadows to be seen and you can barely see the screen because of too much ambient light, it helps a bit, sometimes just enough to make the difference in distinguishing buttons.

At night it will light up your car's interior like crazy and you'll have to turn the brightness down to be able to see anything out the windshield.

    its your call
