i assume you've tried (for at least 30 mins) to reseat the ribbon cable right?
Hi guys,
Please give me some advice, first of all, I took out a screen from the case and mount it in my dash, and I messed up the ribbon cable (the cable connect from the board to the screen). So I ordered a new one, and it worked fine. But right now, the 4 wires that for the touch screen is no good, then I asked my friend to solder it for me, Also he soldered the power button, so I can turn on and off the screen whenever I want, Everything is look good now, but once I plugged in the power, the screen is just white, I can't even see anything, Also I can't change the mode, like VGA or something like that. Thanks.
Btw, just in case if the screen is dead. Do you guys think all I need is buy a non-touch screen monitor? Then I can use the touch screen from the lilliput ? thanks.
here is some pictures of the screen. The one I circle, that is what my friend soldered. thanks.

white screen, usually indicates an incorrectlt seated ribbon cable.
please do a search for lilliput and white screen.

sighz, I just spent like an hour to move the cable around and it's the same thing, is there any problem beside the ribbon cable ? thanks,
could be a fuse on the board that is on the back of the screen.
there is a thread about it, I think started by JCDilliin
edit, this one
Tester Needed! Lilliput White Screen of Death
yes test the little rectangular fuse next to the power cord.. least thats where it is on most lilliputs.
