Can someone tell me the dimensions (in inches) of a 40x2 LCD? I apologize if this is an overly sophomoric question but I've never seen one before and I'd like to know what kind of space I'll need before I buy one. THanks!
um, arent they different sizes depending on the circuit board...
check crystalfontz for some sizes. im sure they will all be pretty close, but this will give you an idea of what to plan for...
other than that i have no clue... dont have a display like that!!!

it really depends on the LCD, check out www.matrixorbital.com and www.crystalfontz.com for measurements of their 40x2s, those should give you a fairly accurate estimate.
