have you tried lowering the screen res and/or refresh rate? it may be an out of range type of message.
Just hooked up the carpc and finished late last night. THe DWW-700H LCD touch screen was the first to go in, it powered up fine, cycled through all the input sources (blue screen as no signal) and did the install on the car PC. I used a Travla PC, with the carnetix P1900. (I am powering the LCD direct from the 12v from the car not the P1900).
Started up the car, the computer turned on.. saw the hard drive light go nuts.. heard the windows logon.. however nothing on the display.
In VGA mode, it displays "DISCONNECTOR" which floats around the screen. Cycled through sources again, nothing.. played with the remote a little bit.. no go. I thought, ok, loose VGA cable. Checked all ends, all were tight and secure. I was using a 12 foot extension cord, so I thought maybe that was the problem. Hooked it direct to the screen, no go. I took the travla into my apt, and loaded the touchscreen drivers via remotepc, and brought it back out to the car.. Still same thing "DISCONNECTOR" I think it means disconnected, just a bad translation.
What might be the problem? Going nuts!
Thanks!

No Go.. It says it without the vga cable connected as well.. so its like its not seeing a signal? Is there a setting/jumper or something that I must do to disable the video1/video2 and enable vga?
anyway u can test the video 1 / 2 inputs?
I think you should do like Kami said and lower your refresh rate within Windows. Usually that's the problem. Just it and be sure it's within the range that the screen can handle.

I'll have to pull apart the dash tonight after work.. I tried lowering the refresh and still no go.
can anyone confirm that it scrolls disconnector when there is no vga cable plugged in (no signal) ?
yes i have a stand version of this lcd, ie not indash. it looks exactly the same from the front. & it scrolls "disconnector" when there is no vga signal, or if the signal is out of sync (refresh rate/resolution etc) or uplugged. try using a different grapgic card or try it on another pc.
Can you post the resolution / refresh rate that you have working ?
Thanks!
I also tried an RCA cable to video1. NOTHING. I changed to LCD + CRT in the bios, nothing. I then hooked up my camcorder to video 1 and it displayed fine? help!
