Or go get a video card with video output, or a monitor with VGA input.
I have a spare tower that i wanna use for my carputer, but the VGA card has no video out.. I know people have posted this problem before, but nobody came up with a solution. How do i convert the VGA to RCA?
If there was a simple Radioshack solution, please let me know.. Thanx..
Thanx for the advice Jahntassa, but that converter is a liitle pricy. If there's no solution, i'll buy it.
But till then this is the problem i found with the ati cards:
How do i make an ATI video out start with 1ry monitor?
Yeah, there's no 'instant cheap' alternative here. Either get your video card drivers working, a different video card, different screen, or a converter.
Won't you need the VGA to hook up the LCD though? Why do you need to convert to a RCA or S-Video signal?
Not everyone has an LCD with a VGA input. Some want to see their computer on a pre-existing in-dash screen like the in-dash DVD players that you can get at your local car stereo shop. Those don't have a VGA input, only RCA or s-video.Originally Posted by Puffanug
