video wont display when entering video mode ?

i'm using ati radeon 7000 GC and a composite 6.5" lcd .the gc doesn't have any dual monitor option . i just hook up the lcd to my pc and found a problem i never encounter . everything is great until it come to video mode.

the video appear on the vga monitor but not at the lcd . why ? does anyone know how to solve this problem ?

you can see here that the vid only appear on the monitor but not on the lcd screen. on the roadrunner video mode, winamp , classic media player , as long it plays video , the video doesn't appear on the lcd screen.

Go get the drivers from ATI. There's an option in the display properties (Right click on the desktop, go to Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Display tab)

If you don't have the right ATI drivers installed, you won't have the right 'Display' tab which should have a little ATI icon next to it. Inside that tab you can select the 'TV Out' as the primary video.

There's only one video overlay on that card, and you have to assign which is the primary display so it knows where to put it, if you have two displays hooked up, by default it'll do VGA first, with the composite output only seeing a black box.

i do have the ATI driver but i can't set the tv out to primary . can't disable the vga as primary .

Update : Problem Solved . the primary still can't changed to tv-out, can't change anything for the monitor , i don't know why. it works on my old gc (same model) at previous setup. so change the "Overlay" setting to "clone mode" . now both vga and rca have video .
