    VGA to RCA

I’m not looking for quality because I know its not going to be there. I just need to get it to work for a few more weeks until bonus time. I’ve read through the forums and Google without finding anything under 100 bucks. The motherboard only has vga and the screen only has the yellow rca / composite input. Any input will be appreciated...Except for the all to common "read the forums"

how about a cheap pci video card that has rca out?

that one has s-video out. You can just buy the adapter to go from s-video to RCA for a couple bucks.

I'm having a ***** of a time with this guy:

I have an older (sony pcg-818) laptop that can do NTSC out, but the picture is all messed up. I swear I've tried every setting in the 'List All Modes' option under XP, but the picture is still B/W and I can't see the bottom part of the screen.

Sounds like that's not the right adapter for your system. Only certain systems can use an adapter like that.

Well, the laptop has a function key for switching between TV and VGA output, so I'm surprised that that adapter doesn't work. I get a partialy picture, but not what I need for anything useful.

The adapter is made to work with specific video cards. Why is that so surprising?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
