Glad you (even) consider doing something similar in your setup, because then I won't be the only carpc freak guy with too many screens...![]()

watching your video of you opening and closing them, i thought it looked a little "tricky" to have to press both of them [granted you dont always have to hit them at the same time] but you could open the screens up and wire the buttons together .. or wire an external button lead to them, so that u could hit the modded button to open both of them, then hit the normal button if you wanted to just oporate one of them. ... just an idea!
BTW nutz!![]()
Yes, definitely it is a very good idea (someone proposed the same in the other forum where I participate) but sadly I had to switch to manual indash monitors because both of them refused to work little after having them all properly set up.
Getting the two manuals to open at the same time is even trickier... any ideas on that?
Thanks very much for your proposal, I would have done something like that in case lilliput in general, and ex-audio in particular did not sell such crappy stuff![]()

I'll give you props for the idea....but i'm just not feeling it. Those monitors are just too busy for my personal liking. Too many buttons, and not a really attractive design, but that's just my opinion. 2 pc's is a cool idea tho![]()
I insist... This installation is now obsolete (the monitors broke, and ex-audio did not pay for the repair or the replacement). I will post about the new setup soon. Thanks

im sorry to hear that! cant wait to see what youe decide to do for a new set up! good luck
This installation is now obsolete. I've moved to a single screen setup (for now) and upgraded the operating system to Ubuntu Linux. =)

From the two original units, one was broken out of warranty and sold it to a forum user for little money. The other, I swapped it for a manual. Later I bought another manual and by the time I installed it, the first manual broke down too. Sent the manual to the shop I bought it from a couple of months ago, and I don't have it back repaired yet. Grrr!
