Was that the same skin in the two clips? Darker skins will produce worse glare. Just curious...it's hard to really tell how great the benefit is until you've already committed to buying one.

It was the same default streetdeck skin in both clips.

4 quick questions...

1) Do any of the circuit boards on the back of the screen extend over the edge of the LCD panel? (IE, if you are looking dead on to the front of the LCD, is there anything hanging over the edges, specifically the top or bottom)

2) What is the big deal with 800x480, I see it all over the place... I assume the screen will auto scale a standard 1024x768 input?

3) What warranty is offered on the LCD and touchscreen?

4) Is the touchscreen the 4 or newer 5 wire resistive?

Oh.. one more thing I just thought of... I heard that the liliput doesn't have variable input voltage like the Xenarc? is this true? My DC voltage in the car runs at about 14.5, if the liliput can't handle that....

lilliput comes with an "egg" shaped voltage regulator.

That looks awesome! I've just had to go through the disappointment of a standard touchscreen in my project, this is soooo much better!

Since you mention open frame, does that include the LCD controller kit and VGA/composite inputs? Does the kit support auto-on?

Will there be a way to buy the touch screen and fit it in my xenarc? That screen is still just a LCD pannel but it seems that the touchscreen glass plate has been treated so I am thinking we can just buy that.
