Question What screen resolution do you use?

I'm trying to get an idea of what the average resolution is for car PC displays, as well as the lowest common denominator. I am trying to create an application interface that will cause the least number of problems for the widest range of systems. If you could help by answering this poll, it would be greatly appreciated. Other application developers may be able to make good use of this information as well.

what cards are you people using?
I have 2 computers one with a ati x800 and one with ibm integrated gfx. Both of them starts with 800x600 and then next step is 1024x768, nothing between. Am I missing something out?
My touchscreen (super) says 1024x768 in the OSD menu even though my computer is sending out 800x600

Dude, you need to search the forums.
There are so many threads on 840x480 resolution for different makes/models of video cards it's not even funny.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
