Hmm...confliciting things in the article...

...but also...

A single panel can uniformly spread out the light from a single LED up to approx. 4" (100 mm) in width and 10" (250 mm) in length.

Would definitely need more than 1 LED's worth of illumination though!

yeah definatly more than one led...but its a neat idea....gets more light for your led...
