    Screen area

    Hey people i have got a 5 inch lcd screen hooked up to my pc through a old 2mb s3 video card with tv out. I just wanted to know is there any way to stretch the screen size on the lcd. Can it only be done through a program like powerstrip etc. Cause when i hook the lcd up to my n64 it takes up the whole screen but when i hook it up to my pc it leaves about 5mm (about 1/4 of a inch for all you others lol ) around each part of the screen. It may be a stupid question but can any damage be done to the lcd by stretching my screen size to the edges.

    I hooked up a 5" lcd that someone I know had to my radeon all in wonder and got the saem effect.... TV -> small screens just sucks... not trying to be rude but you should ditch that pile and just get a vga screen its well worth the extra cash

    Heh, just a weeeeeeee bit more (), that and ive never seen a 5" vga lcd. you might be able to find some controls (either from s3 or 3rd party) to stretch it, but ive never had much luck getting it to be 100%.

    I have the same problem. My dash only has room for a 4" LCD w/o MODS. I have the FV24...and I heard that's a problem. I hope it's not too noticable. I will find out soon enough.

    You could always customize your bezel to cover the excess screen... out of sight, out of mind!

    Its ok i was fidiling around with powerstrip last night and it can stretch the screen for me. Also the largest i can go in my dash to is a 5 inch so its eaither that or nothing
