Okay heres is my deal....im looking at these two screens right now on ebay.
one is a Generic 8" LCD TS similar to those "SUPER" screens out there. It costs 169.99 with free shipping from within the USA and can support up to 1024x768 resolution .... but the native is only 640x480...
(can be linked to from here: less cost less res screen)
the second is also an 8" LCD TS display. it costs only 162.00 but has a 39.00 shipping charge and is from Hong Kong....it supports 1024x768 as well but the main difference is that its native resolution is 800x600.
(can be linked from here: high res high cost)
now part of me is saying splerge the extra 40 bucks get the better screen and dont be dissapointed....whereas the seccond is saying... the cheaper screen is well cheaper but will come from here in the USA...
i have been going back and forth now for the past 4 days and just cannot decide...and well i just need someone to give me a few hints or suggestions, thoughts hell any comments....
and yes ive searched....800x600 will look better i know....but is it worht the 40...**** probalby yes...but AHHSHHSHSHHS
just a few comments....even if they are telling me to shut up and go to ... somewhere....anything is appreciated...

Dude, I paid $300 for my lilliput and that was the cheapest screen out there at the time. Before that, you had to pay $600 for a Xenarc, and there was no such thing as an in-dash screen.
Spend the extra $40.

First post! I just got the "Provision" 8" screen and i'm impressed. Scored this for 190 bucks shipped from the Ebay and I couldn't be happier. 800x600 native res. and no dead pixels. http://cgi.ebay.com/8-LCD-VGA-TOUCHS...QQcmdZViewItem
This thing's made in Taiwan; I hear they make better electronics than China.
