Set your setting on your graphic card. It should display video on the 2 rear screen without affecting your Navi or whatever u do unless u turn it off. I use it in RR and it work greats.
As the title states, I'm trying to run one touchscreen lilliput (Main Dash monitor for Front End and Carputer) and then two clarion headrest monitors (for DVD/Video/Audio).
I will be running a VIA EPIA MII10000 motherboard w/ 1GB system memory, so the max amount will be switched to the onboard video. I am planning to buy a PCMIA sound card, then run the sound card's outputs to the headunit, and the on-board sound to the rear headrests for their headphones. Both back headrests will mirror each other on the CarPC source, then both of them will also have an alt source(RCA Outputs in back).
I want to be able to control either two front ends running at the same time (like two CFs or two RRs) OR I want to be able to have the front end on my main dash screen, and be able to open an application such as DVD or Video and have it on the rear screens, but allow me to still switch back to my Navi or other Front End stuff without affecting the DVD in the rear seats.
I have heard many different options, but I am still confused on what to get and making sure everything will work.
Is any of this possible? Running dual video from only the on-board memory? Running 2 seperate versions of the same program on different monitors?

You need to set up your graphic card to support video overlay.
Then go to RR forum and search for dual monitor support.

I have had a few probs with extended desktops on multiple composite outputs. Test outside the car if possible as its a pain when you can't see the desktop you have just extended i.e. you enable extended and it goes f'd up, unless your hot on keyboard shortcuts...
Anyway, it is possible, but you will not be able to run video on the VGA and Composite outputs at the same time. You will need to choose 1 or the other.
i.e. you have to select the overlay for either in the VIA S3 Card Properties in Windows.
If you find a way, do share as I have tried for months.
