anyone??? would grounding the LCD to the power supply do the trick, i'll give it a go
My motorised Lilli flickers.
I've tried everything on suggested on the forum but nothing works. I can't power if off the PSU because it uses too much power.
Its because of the harddrive, i think when the drive is accessing, its sending ripples though the VGA cable up to the screen. Any electronic experts care to share some knowledge?
im having the exact same problem as you!! did you overcome this problem? anyone else have any ideas? and your right, when the computer is processing it puts flicker through the screen.
I found that updating the drivers on a friends PC solved his problems.
Just make sure that you have a very solid ground and adequate power going to the screen in the first place.
everything is grounded and connected correctly as far as i know. when the computer is idle the screen does not flicker, but as soon as i access data or run a program flickering occurs (hard drive access) it doesnt do it connected to normal power and i have also tryed a video card in it with no luck!
Ive read through the forums that connecting the LCD to the computers psu (m2-atx) it solves the problem, but is there another way around this? its driving me crazy
the reason that connecting the screen to the PSU solves this problem for some is that the PSU provides more regulated power. From what I remember, the Lilli's need that regulated power, while the Xenarcs don't necessarially.
Thats Correct, thats why they have the Regulator/Filter Box on the DC Line in for the Car Adapter
