Making touchscreen work while not in vga mode

Hello, just as the title says, i have the ex-audio touchscreen and i would like if possible for the touchscreen to work while the screen is in one of the av modes,AV1 or AV2. does anyone have any idea related to this?
    Cheers

Well, if it's the same size as lilli/xenarcs, you could buy a touchscreen for one of those, along with a TS controller, and put that in it instead, because in my xenarc (for example) the TS controller is in no way connected to the display circuitry, just the computer via USB, and it works no matter what the display is doing, even if it's off. Or, if the TS panel in your display is the same as or similar to the lilli/xenarc TS's, then you might be able to just buy a TS controller for it.
But don't take it from me! here's a quote from a real, live newbie:

well, this ex-audio seems to be a rebranded new lilliput, but from what is inside the touch controller is onboard, together with everything, connected with a ribbon cable kind of thing. I was wondering if it was anything that could be done that didn t involve buy a new touchscreen
    Thanks for the answer

Well the lilliputs I have all have the touchscreen working whatever the mode. There is a seperate board which looks like it's connected but it's really just piggybacked.

this unfortunatelly is really one big board, and if i switcht the mode, or turn the monitor off, touchscreen doesnt work anymore. if the monitor is in suspend mode, or has no vga, touchscreen still works
i will try to get some pics of the board, but they are really gonna be crap because all i have is camera phone
    cheers
