flip up touchscreen won't flip up because of dash!!!

i've searched all over for some sort of adaptor to extend a touch screen out of the dash so that it can flip upwards, but haven't found anything. was wondering if anyone knew of a product which could do the job?
it would save alot of work, as there is nowhere else i could mount it.:(

would be a simple thing to do if you fabricated it yourself

dont know if theres any generic solution for what you want though, might help if we knew the model of car you had, then maybe if we felt nice enough we could help you search, lol
