so, first things first, what model is it?
Hi All,
I'm a bit of a noob to all this, so please be gentle with me.
I'm trying to marry a car DVD player to a headrest screen The DVD player has the standard audio and video outs (red, white and yellow connectors) The screen has a block connector with 10 wires in it. The wires are as follows.
Red ... I know this is the 12+ for the screen
Black... I know this is the -ve
Yellow... ?
Brown...?
Orange... ?
Purple... ?
White... ?
Bare wire... Co-axial screen?
Green...?
Blue...?
Anybody know what all these wires do? The screen has a thingy for a remote control, so I assume some of the wires cover this. What I really want to know is: what are the audio and video inputs to the screen. Or is it not that simple??

Thanks for the quick reply. Both units are Visteon, but there is nothing on the screen to indicate a model number. How can I find the number, if there is one?
