Has anyone purchased this? Any opinions on it...complaints? Worth getting? Sucks?
I think it looks great to have inside a car, and according to the measurements, it should be able to fit inside my car with no problem providing the dimensions is for the casing the monitor is in too.

Perfect! That's exactly what I was looking for altogether. I didn't know the type of lcd it was because it doesn't say anything in the store, but now I know, so thank you VERY much.
And your final results look great too! =)
Thats a really nice screen, check this thread out.

@ Kalt - Thanks, that dynamix was nice too, yes, but I kinda like the one I linked to more.
I'm looking at the dimensions you took sama (converted to inches using your ruler from your pic =P ) and if I DON'T use the frame the monitor comes in...I should be okay squeezing it into my dash. However, with the frame, I have one of two choices.... 1) Rig up something like you did so it will fit, or 2) buy the 7" one making life easier.
Grrr...Decisions, decisions...
After some measuring in my car, I have no choice but to go with the 7" screen...no biggie. I'll jot down the lilliput on my to-get list. When it arrives, I can just modify the control panel to the left or right side of the screen and I'm all good.
good luck!

Moving parts around on boards isn't that difficult honestly...I have done it on other projects, however, I'll only know the challenge I'm up against when I open this one.
