Great Price! I don't know if 800x600 is native res or "max res". You should email them. If it's 800x600 native res, i'll jump on it. Brigthness and contrast seems to be overall the same with other lcd monitors. This one has a built in fm tuner...good for people who arne't running off a head unit.

well the description says that 800x600 is max res though it says nothing about native. I'd guess that it's a 640x480 panel which scales 800x600. Still a good price though. Wish I had seen this earlier, but then again I'm glad I didn't.
Chickened out, now taking the easy route.

I just got one of these. Its not bad. Had the touchscreen up and running in a few mins. It is naitive at 800x600, but also does higher. It wont even do 640x480. Its not bad for the price, and the touchscreen seems to work well (its an Elo) although this wont necessarily be best in terms of in sunlight. Also its a little big for mounting in dash. I bought this as a temporary solution until an indash double din screen comes out.

Elo is a brand of touchscreens.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Yeah I will say the FM tuner is bogus, it doesnt work very well and there isn't even any visual feedback as to what station you have tuned to. Not to mention, that the antenna comes straight out of the top of the case, not on a hinge like the initial picture suggests.
