you would need a video card that had two outputs. from there you can set what applications open up on what monitor. that Y adapter you saw will only put the same image on 2 monitors.
2part question:
is it possible to have two screens with different outputs? for example the driver get to see the nav and the passengers can watch a video....
how bout two touchscreens. this allows the passengers in the back to take control.....![]()
i saw a Y adapter for dual screens and am wondering if this will suffice for dual touchscreen..

search on " dual monitor" (road runner will do it or just windows) and search for "extended desktop". You will also need the right touchscreen drivers I believe, check the faqs in the lcd section for those. Short answer, what you want to do is completely possible though maybe not preconfigured anywhere.
thanks - sounds a little more complicated but may be worth it....
