I am finishing up right now...I love having progress pics but I hate taking them. I usually have my wifey do it. Oh well. I took my amp on from the ACC feeding the headunit. I did it nice and neat using the 'best-buy' vw adapter. Fm reception is fantastic, sound is nice and clean, video is awesome, simple to use, awesome that i can select inputs vs eachother. IE sound and video. I am waiting on doing the back-up cam and I would love to know how to wire in those f_king PC on and PC RST lines. Will post pics up soon

I had a bit of a problem with the unit today. It got stuck on the radio with no other functionality. Turned off the car, it stayed on! WTF??! No buttons were responsive & couldn't turn it off, change volume, nada, zilch. I figured I would simply pull the fuse, and WTF - it stayed on! That was strange, as all I did was plug it into the factory harness. I eventually had to pull the unit out & unplug the back socket which had the power & speakers & such coming out of it. That seemed to reset it, and it didn't even loose any of my radio presets. I hope that this isn't a common occurance & was just a glitch!?? It has been functioning normally since then though...

Yes, cloning a screen from a phone can be done

If you want to view a pocketpc device you don't need an rgb connection. Microsoft make a little program called Remote display control for pocketpc. I use it all the time for making screendumps for teaching with. server sits on pocketpc, server sits on pc. Tightvnc pocketpc edition is another option.
Don't know if windows mobile versions are available, and you'll need to be able to connect to your machine via WIFI or bluetooth

Yes, Armen told me that he would take it back & send me a new one. Seems to me he has pretty good service. I sure hope the pc reset & power buttons work too on the next one. Now my ride is pretty boring without tunes. I think I will take my mp3 player with me on my commute tomorrow...

Armen is wonderful. He's got to be the best vendor I've worked with on pretty much anything.

ive got one of these head units and yesterday and today i experienced it having horizontal colourful lines that got darker and darker until the screen went black after the windows boot screen.
both times i turned the head unit off and back on and the screen was fine.
I have had it for a month and it has only happened twice but i fear this is a sign that is on its way to the grave yard.
    What do you guys think.
