    drdream,
Did you try the technical support email where it says on his website to email to requst an rma? He responded to me the next day.

    smartstradamus,
At least you could turn it off to reset it. I wouldn't worry too much if you can reset it that easilly. Time will tell of course, but there is a 1 year warrantee.

did you wire your ground from the head unit straight to the chassis or through your stock harness.
i have the same setup as you except for the motherboard and i have a grounding issue but it doesnt seem to be on the pc side coz the sound is crystal clear through headphones.

    drdream,
It all depends on where you are, in my case it took around 2 months for the whole RMA process. Good Luck.

    Smartstradamus,
I ground mine through the previous HU harness and it got grounding problem. Temporary I had it fix with a ground loop isolator & as they say the isolator is a band aid. Maybe I should try to connect the GND wire from the DWW-750FM to the car chassis, the same spot where I'm currently grounding the pc and the amp. Like in your case when i tested it with the headphone the sound was clear so i guess the dww-750fm is the culprit.

it's been a while for me posting up here...Not too many issues, none i could deal with right away being in school and all. Anyhow, I have a few bugs which I am waiting to get time for to test possible fixes. 1 is the ground loop. I am having horrific whine, but I am suspecting that i merely need to better ground the 750Fm as it is was the last piece installed before causing whine (stock HU used before.) Also, my screen is going funky colors...mainly pink. Not solid, but everything just hues like a tint control on a tv. I have to make sure all my cables are still nice and neat and sealed still, and hope it's not the monitor. I still have no clue about the PC ON & RST buttons...lost cause? When you mentioned using a ground loop isolator, all I found were the ones that go to the speakers, is that the case? any and all help or suggestions is appreciated. By the wayy, people with grounding issues, is the cage that the HU sits in Plastic or metal? I have a hunch.

The surrounding for the hu in my car is plastic.
I ripped my dash apart yesterday but couldnt find any good points on the chassis .
I only have the grounding issue when the pc is connected and not with my laptop on battery,so i tried running the sound through my laptop with a usb sound card from the pc to the sound card in and the out from the sound card to the hu and the problems pop straight back up,aswell as having interference on the screen which moves with the alternator whine.
Just gonna have to try a dc suppressor and a ground loop isolator.

I used a ground isolator from my local corner car stereo shop. It looks like a cylinder with two rca inputs and two rca outputs. It also has a ground wire but in our case it shouldn't be connected according to the dealer. I simply plugged it in between the 750fm & the audio out on my carputer & it worked like a charm.

Still waiting for word from armen on my returned 750fm for rma. Tracking says it is there, but he hasn't confirmed. I am really missing this unit!

I grounded to the metal frame around the hole for the radio. I guess that is the chassis? That is where the factory radio was grounded, so I just plugged straight into the same ground.

So it has been 2 weeks since the tracking number indicates that Armen has recieved my radio. Armen said he would contact me as soon as it arrives, and I haven't heard a peep from him despite my querries. Should I be worried?
