Use VGA to RCA converter for test purposes

    Hi all,

I'm going to uni on Saturday and haven't yet bought an lcd screen for my car computer. Rather than lugging my old CRT with me to test the system, could i buy one of these from ebay and just use my TV?

I'm just a bit concerned bacuse they're only on ebay, Maplins etc don't seem to stock them!

    Andy

That will only work with specific video cards, ATI models, I believe.

Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

Don't you have some kind of TV out on your card? I would just use that.

Ooh you're right, there's a TV out RCA connection!!

Should it work if there's nothing connected to the VGA port?

Yes, you may need to setup up with a VGA screen at first though.
