I believe your ribbon cable is loose. The ribbon cable that connects the circuitry to the lcd
Ok, I have had the carputer out for about a month or so now, doing some upgrades and what not. Anyway when i took the carputer out everything was working fine. Now when i put it in last night i am now having issues with my lilliput screen. I took it apart brought it inside to see if it was a power issue (being that i just got a better psu) Same thing inside happens. It will power on, but the screen is very dim, and there are now flickering lines running thru it. then when i get it in VGA mode there is a faint whiteness that flashes on the screen then it just goes black. So i have never had an issue with my screen yet so i am not sure if i should just buy a new one or if there is anyway to get it fixed.
I have taken the screen apart and looked at all the connections to see if they were all in tact and everything looks fine. Thanks in advance for your help!

Buy a Xenarc next time. There was a rough sampling that someone took to see how many people had an LCD fail on them. Lots of posts from Lilliput users, none that I can remember from Xenarc. Figure that you will probably have a problem with yours at some point, and at some point you will be faced with the choice of buying another lesser quality, lesser reliable Lilliput for the same price, which is what you would have paid for 1 Xenarc. Get a Xenarc in the first place and enjoy better quality and reliability!

I've had my lilliput for two years (and its still working good).Buy a Xenarc next time. There was a rough sampling that someone took to see how many people had an LCD fail on them. Its been running on unregulated 12 volts, i.e. directly to the battery. It has been taken apart numerous times.
While the lilliputs may be of lesser quality, not everyone has problems with them.
Does the cable looked cracked or even bent at all?ok i check the ribbon cable re seated it about 10 diffrent times and i still get the same effect.. Could the ribbon cable be bad??

My Lilliput 7'' VGA Touchscreen 629GL-70NP That i bought back in JUNE just started to show the same problems. When i turn it on there will be lines aall over the screen and then a bunch of white lines will appear in the bottom right corner and slowly make it's way across the screen. The touch screen is completly useless at this point. This is not a problem i found that is limited to the VGA. i tested it with just the RCA Video In plugged into my DVD player and i got the same results. It seems that if i tapped the side of the screen a few times it would work again for maybe 20 seconds but then screw up again. I dont think that it's an over heating problem because this will happend even if i havent turned the screen on for hours. I bought this from the MP3 Car Store in JUNE, Is there any warrenty on this? Can i get this fixed or replaced?
