Thread: Building a new system for the new car

Well I bought a 95 neon and I sold the system from my 87 accord, so im gonna need some new stuff. But im undecided what lcd to get, I cant really tell a difference between the 619 and 629. Ive had some experience with the 619 installing in other cars, so im somewhat familiar with them, but the 629 doesnt really look much different aside from the buttons.

I dont have to stay with a 7", I can go up to an 8, but any bigger wont fit but id prefer to stay with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Anything I should know before I purchase (within the next 2 weeks) either the 619 or 629? Itll be in a custom fiberglass enclosure in the dash.

Only thing I dont like about these is the plug in on the side kinda sticks out a little when you plug the connector in. Any help appreciated.
