I want to go the simple route in my 2007 Toyota Prius:

-- Stick my Fujitsu Lifebook p-2000 under the driver's seat
-- Hook it into the Prius's MP3 jack for sound
-- Connect it to an external touch screen for control

Here's a pic of my Prius's dash & interior:

At the front of the armrest are two cupholders. I was thinking of 'mounting' the touch screen using one of those cupholder GPS mounts like this:

My questions:

-- Has anyone done a touch screen mount this way?

-- Will a touch screen like the ones popular on here by Lilliput or Xenarc attached successfully to my Fujitsu? I was never aware you could attach a an external touchscreen to a laptop like that.

Thanks for the tips and info.
