    75 ohm tvout to lcd question

    I've had little luck making a resistance of 75 ohm. This is what I'm gonna try next. Let me know if this is how anyone else does it.

    Cut like a portion of the wire off, just enough to get access to the shielding and copper line. Then sodder the resistor to the ground and the other end to the copper. Then tape it all up. Is this how you are supposed to do it or what? I guess I'm kind of clueless. Are there any digital pics of this process being done?

    exactly......

    better idea is to lop off the RCA plug at the video card end and resolder on another RCA plug where you can fit the 75ohm resistor inside the plug.....

    and yes the resistor goes across the shielding and the inner wire....
