    difference lilliput vs Xenarc

    hey all.
read both sticky's and the difference (apart from the price ) is not apparent to me still. what do you get for 140$ more with Xenarc tat yo don't get with lilli? as far as i read both are glarry/crappy on sunny days.

while i'm at it what is the differnce between 619 and 629 lillis

    thanks

Lilliput needs regulated power input, the Xenarc does not. Meaning you can wire the Xenarc directly to the car while the Liliput needs regulated power.

That's one of the biggest differences.

I tend to like the Xenarc more, it feels like a better built unit, but that may not even phase you.

it seems to me that it makes more sence to go with lilli and put the 140$ towards better/beefier PSU to power both PC and the monitor at the expence of buid quality. am i missing anything?

yes, at the moment Lilli looks like more cost effective solution -> more attractive to me. i'm sure however that those with xenarc had their justification of extra price. is "buil-in" power regulator sole justification?

many people have had issues with the liliputs going out on them while the Xenarcs have lasted longer.

I've had 2 xenarcs, neither has ever gone out on me. I'm actually currently on my second one. The only reason I went with another is that I wanted the 8" so I upgraded from the 7".

Also, the bezel and where you have to mount it will make a difference as well.

the reason I went with the xenarc tsv is that it auto switches on to video2 when recieving power. really handy for backup cameras.

And how about the dead pixels and the effective lcd life of the xenarc?
