Thread: lilliput in a WRX question

I'm getting ready to install my 7" Lilliput in my 03 WRX. i found the following which is very helpful http://www.mechatroniks.com/wrx/lili-diy.html

however, what does everyone do as far as trying to keep the buttons or at least the I/F reciever? would the LCD power on properly without the bottoms?

Lastly, perhaps i'm not searching enough, are there any DIY mounting methods to save on the 130$ cost of the bezel?
