You won't be able to use it natively.
You could use the iPaq with some remote control app (like VNC) to control the laptop. That's about as good as it would get.
The idea cames from using GOOGLE EARTH on my car with a bluetooth GPS ... I cannot use it on my Ipaq Hp2215 (2210)
I would like to build a CAR COMPUTER, I want to use a broken screen (lcd) notebook (laptop) from my office (they will put in a basket)and use it as the main part computer (it's a Pentium III 700 Mhz Acer notebook), the LCD is broken but I know that maybe works if I plug it on a LCD via VGA connector.
I need also a keyboard (maybe I will use an infrared keyboard, some little keyboard thought for some Ipaq Pocket PC and the rest is an LCD VGA Monitor (very little), I made a search on ebay and I saw a lot of these type of screens of 7'' or 8'' of course TOUCH SCREEN for use in the car without mouse but are very expensive.
The solution can be (maybe): Can I USE MY IPAQ LCD AS A TOUCH SCREEN LCD MONITOR and CAN I CONNECT VIA (maybe CF or other plug) to my NOTEBOOK COMPUTER?
In your opinion, is possible? I have to build a circuit to adapt signals, I have to put a flat cable inside that cames out from my ipaq? please give me a suggestion, do you heard about such thing?
Thanks a lot for any possible answer.

you can just create a lan between the ppc and the laptop.
SideWindow might be an option for you:

wow, very interesting software, affordable too.
BTW, can i activate the PDA screen without turn on the main screen?
eg. i want to leave the main screen off, can i make my navigation software show nicely on PDA? will i be able to press some button to switch between winamp or few other software?
You can have GPS, but you'll have speed issues. The fastest graphics blittling you'll get will be through a network connection (wifi or CF network card).
I once investigated using a TV tuner CF card in a PDA, and feeding the pc's tv out directly to that. It works.. but you can't see diddly squat!
There was quite a big discussion about this here
