    it works

thanks guys for all your import i got it to work just fine a few things i noticed while working whit it is that the blue button lights need to be off before you press 588998 then once you press in the number on the remote press the menu button on the screen itself not the remote. then use the left and right arrows next to the menu button on the screen to navigate up and down then use the volume buttons on the screen to change the values after you get done press menu again to exit and your done no soldering what so ever

It took alot of people a few go's to get it.
Nislo, u you seem experienced with the EBY701. Is there a auto switch feature, for like rear view cameras?

This screen does not have auto switch, but I have made a mod to do it. Someone told me the BRCk has something to do with when the car is moving it turns off the screen so the driver cannot view it...

hey fellas, I in the process of configuring the auto on for my eby701 and am having some trouble. I manage to get to the screen where the options for power mode and set it to 1 but after I cut the power from my ignition and reboot the pc, the screen does not auto power. I check the option power mode again and notice it got reset back to 0. Why and how...?

Here is my steps to get to the option:
    1. after all the powering off and on with the battery and unit itself, boot it up and enter 588997
    2. I get a language screen, on the language screen I press the menu button on the unit itself not the remote to get to the power mode screen.
    3. Change power mode from 0 to 1 and press menu on remote.

also after all this is done i repeat the steps to check if the option stayed and it did. But when I turned off the ignition and turned it back on the unit did not auto power. I went back to check the option and it reset. What am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

I did have a solution.... it worked on my work bench, but when applied to my car, it did not work correctly.... i eventually gave up and went with a second screen to show the rear.
