    Lilliput TS problem.

My touchscreen has worked fine for about two years, and lately I have been experiencing this problem.

The screen will work properly for about 3 minutes, then it will start to recoginze all touches as touches on the left side of the screen. When the screen is in this state a calibration graph looks like a whole bunch of points on the far left of the screen.

This only started happening when the weather cooled down, but now that the weather is in the 70's again and the problem persists.

    Is this a bad install/panel/controller/drivers?

Also, since I have owned the monitor I have had a problem where the touchscreen would stop responding and plugging it in again would always fix it. I have since reinstalled windows, but that is about the same time this started happening. I only mention it becuase the two problems may be related.

    Thanks for the help.

I don't have a Lilliput, I have a Dynamix 7" but my symptoms are the same. Started about a week or so ago, it would work fine for a while and then any time I touch the screen it sends the pointer to the far right, sometimes top, sometimes bottom. Sometimes unplugging it worked for a bit, sometimes not. Reboots helped sometimes.

One thing that I did (stupidly) was let MS update run in a touchscreen driver. I tried doing a system restore to before that time and it did not help. I also just went back to an earlier clone of my CarPC but I realized it was before I got this particular touch screen (my old one used different drivers). So this morning I tried installing the drivers for it. I was running late for work and could not fiddle with it so I don't know if that has fixed it yet or not.

    Anyone with any other clues?
    Chris
