Hello,
I purchased a Lilliput touch screen monitor and all works fine. But, I am using with DVD lobby home htpc and I need to extend the distance about 12ft. I purchased a 12ft vga extension cable, but the monitor became blurry? Is there away to extend with the s-video? I noticed it is a little different. I could not fine a s-video extension cable that was male one side and female the other side? Any other suggestions on how to get 12ft more?
Thanks JR

I ordered a 25 ft vga extender.. would that make the picture blurry too? the lcd is powered by a hp laptop. I'm going from the trunk to the dash which is why I got a really long one. Would the svideo type extender prove better quality? if so why?

S-VHS quality will be far worse than VGA. Your best bet is with VGA cables. S-VHS can be extended a little farther, but its quality is far worse to begin with.

Can someone recommend a good vga extension. I have purchased two at Frys, and the video quality is pretty bad.
Thanks JR
Are the cables purchased at Fry's shielded? Are they about 1/4" in diameter and fairly heavy (for a cable)? do they bend easily?

The cables I purchased at Frys are pretty thin and bend easy.

They probably arent shielded. Try to get cables that are known to me shielded. I know Cyberguys has them.
