do you have a photo?
Hello,
I just bought my Honda Civic 2000 Ferio, imported from Japan, which came with an in-dash GPS Navigation System. I’m not really sure that this is a “factory” in-dash unit. In my country, the GPS nav system did not work, so I don’t want it anymore.
What I want is to have this screen to be capable to accept video inputs, like a DVD player, or other video stuffs. On the Internet I saw that there are some modules or interfaces that do that work. The problem is that they are too expensive (US$250.00-400.00).
I was wondering if there is another solution less expensive than buying a car DVD player with its own LCD screen included. Please help me and excuse my “not very good looking english”
Let me know if it’s necessary some photos of the screen or connectors.

I'll have to take some photos. But it looks pretty much like this one, but of course, with the LCD included:

just curious...is there an alpine sticker on it?

No, it just says "Honda Navigation System". It came with a CD room, maybe for the maps, and a set of buttons at the left side of screen to control the nav sys, radio, tape and CD. Hope this help.
ok, so.. how you're going to do it? I mean, are you going to use a module or something like that?
i do not know yet, i havnt opened it up!
i have a feeling it is a RGB Signal, and if it is i have a key digital VGA -> Component/RGBS Convertor
