any idea on the price range?

Finally one of the missing links. Can't wait. Just put in the Xenarc in dash....it will be pulled our real soon and replaced. Did that one have a built in 4 channel amp?

from what we were told, it has a 4x45 built in. (which is probably more like 4x12)

Any Idea what the depth of the unit is? I tried the xenarc mechanical 7" in dash and because of the connector on the back it wouldnt fit in my dash. Looks like they have switched to pigtails for everything which is god for me but how deep is it?

The CD/DVD drive, does it load and play only via the carPC or can it load it like a normal HU.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We don’t have specifications listed out yet, but we have a general idea of what the specs will be.  It will be single din, fully motorized, 7” touchscreen monitor with VGA, AV inputs, and built-in DVD ROM and AM/FM tuner.  There will be a 4x50 watt speaker pre-amp built in as well.  At this time, we have no plans for a double din version.  The MDT-X7000 will retail for US$799.00.

The prototype I have the cd/dvd player can be used either as a stand alone or for the PC it has AM/FM radio and I will have to check again but I think it has an AUX in for other external stand alone devices like mp3 players, SAT and other devices that have an RCA output. So yes it can be used without a PC or at least the the one I have does not sure what the finshed unit will have....

Any new news about this nice new monitor?
