Skippman,
Don’t fret. The hard work is done. At least they are willing to take the orders directly. Take a break and have a good weekend.
I know. This is a combination of a few factors. One of which is I work a HIGH stress job. So when my hobbies begin to cause me extra stress, I guess it gets to me.
As I said, I'm working on other venues to insure we get the best price we can. If I can get it any cheaper I will let you know.![]()

If the display resolution is 800x430, Is this going to be compatible with Windows 9X or 2000?
How do you set up a resolution different than the regular ones (800x600 or 640x480)?![]()
That 430 would be a typo that I failed to correct in my quote. It's 640x480 or 800x480. Depending on which you want to run.

You can use Power Strip to get any resolution you wish. Perfect for widescreen monitors.

I just downloaded the software and try creating the custom 800x480 resolution but it didn't work. My video card is a NVIDIA RITA TNT2 MODEL 64 32 MB. I am running Win 2000.Originally posted by Whaleboy

Have you try doing this? What kind of video card do you have?
Yeah, just tried it, worked great... I have an GeForce3 chipset. You sure you're settin' it properly? Do you have your monitor profile set?
I haven't used the program at all except just for fiddling with 16:9 equivalent resolutions. I simply go to the Powerstrip icon in the system tray, right click on it and select Display Profiles, then Configure, from there I select Advance Timing Options, then Custom Resolutions, then set my new resolution.
After thats done, gotta reboot. Then you go back to the Configure window under Display Profiles, and simply drag the slider to your new set resolution.
Don't know if thats the proper way to do it, or the safest way either. But I didn't have alotta time on my hands, so thats all I did..![]()

Just letting you know that I'm currently not interested in purchasing a LCD. I just can't justify the price. If it was cheaper maybe, but I could buy a 17" LCD for that price.
I'm currently thinking about this LCD . Anybody with ideas on how it could fit in my car?![]()

i have a feeling all this lcd has is an internal scan converter...
if this was true... it wouldnt exactly be like a true vga flatscreen lcd monitor...
$525 is a large gamble on a relatively new and "untested" piece of hardware.... unless someone has actual evidence about its clarity...
