all the specs look good. I wasn't able to see the brightness. That could be the only factor.

I thought the note on voltage was interesting.... not more that 12 volts.
"Power supply: 12V DC < 700 mA
Warning: Don't supply more than 12V
As it will damage the monitor!"
sounds like it might burn up without a regulated 12volt line.

Speaking of which, what would be the easiest (and cheapest) way to make a regulated 12 volt line so it wouldn't surge when the car's power surges? I want to protect my baby, err, my MiniBook PC. =D
