    What do you guys thing of this screen....

    all the specs look good. I wasn't able to see the brightness. That could be the only factor.

    I thought the note on voltage was interesting.... not more that 12 volts.

    "Power supply: 12V DC < 700 mA
    Warning: Don't supply more than 12V
    As it will damage the monitor!"


    sounds like it might burn up without a regulated 12volt line.

    Speaking of which, what would be the easiest (and cheapest) way to make a regulated 12 volt line so it wouldn't surge when the car's power surges? I want to protect my baby, err, my MiniBook PC. =D

    Most people would tell you to search... well I think this thread will give you background.

    The short answer is use 12 volt from the PC power supply... if the PS can handle the load.

    Next question is how do you tell if the PS can handle the load, I do not have an answer for that.
