It means that it doesn't use a motor, rather a spring loaded mechanism to eject the screen. Still best to guide it out with your hand though.

Don't have one myself, but I do know that many people who buy a Xenarc once, will buy a Xenarc again. They're known for the quality and reliability. Plus the fact that they support multi-monitor-touchscreen systems with their own drivers, rather than having to find a separate program to manage it.

so they are more reliable than the lilliput units?

Lilliput are known for having driver issues.
I suggest you search the forum and have a browse at all the threads.

what kind of driver issues? ormore physical reliabilty issues?

I read a thread the other day with a whole group of members giving lilliputs a bad name.
