to and from are usually paid by the buyer. get ready to fork over some dough. Sorry.
I bought a 10.4" TS from Electronicar/Ebay and I am sending it back to Hong Kong for warranty repair. I know alot of you have done this and I was unclear if I have to pay for shipping back to me once it's fixed/replaced. I am in the US so I don't think I have to mess with customs charges, I think![]()
I am looking at around $40 thru USPS AirMail and can live with that if I get a working screen back.
I just want to know if I will have to expect any other charges. I auction said the buyer was responsible for return shipping charges so I assume they pay for the shipping back to me.
Thanks,
Scott

You pay to return to them, they pay to return to you. Unless they claim that your unit is not defective (which they probably will). They know they have you by the nads, since you are half a world away and they will have your already paid for item. Good luck on that one.
I have one of the screen sent back to HK for repair after 3 months of use. The seller (not Electronicar) agree to repair it, but they have to sent to manufacturer to repair and that can take months. They opt for me to pay shipping back from HK to me for a new one instead of waiting for the repair. I end up paying both way. Cost me 45 bucks sending to HK and 27 from HK to US.
So it is depend on the seller, but usually you pay shipping to them and they pay it to ship it back to you.
